Default chest exercises?

hey guys!

I was wondering if anyone knew some really effective chest exercises that don't require a bench. I have been doing push ups for about two weeks and I'm not really seeing or feeling any difference. I have two 10kg dumbbells so any exercises would be greatly appreciated!

cheers!

There are many chest exercises you can do without a bench. For starters, if you are doing pushups on the floor and it is very easy for you....you need to challenge yourself. Here a few ways to do that!

You can pushups with your toes (feet) on a stair...so your feet are off the ground by 10 inches or so. If THAT is easy...you can find something higher...like a bench of chair...Place the bench or chair up against a wall so it is stable.

Also , just by widening your hand stance when performing pushups is an extra challenge. Doing pushups slowly is also an added benefit....Like count to 4 on the way down..............4 on the way up...Or you can count to 6 on the way down. and count to 2 on the way up....All of these are challenges.

You can also, place your dumbbells on the floor ....holding them, palms(hands) facing each other...and perform pushups that way....This method is an added challenge because your hands are higher than the floor, and you're forced to grasp on to the dumbbell bar for balance...this exercise requires a lot of balance and strong core muscles.

You can also try chest flies, chest presses, with your dumbbells too..( while lying on the floor) ....10kg MAY be too heavy for you to do flies....May BE!!! 5 kg may be better...but ONLY you can gauge that.

You should be doing chest exercises every 3rd day....so If you do them on Monday...you can do them again on Thursday. In order to get gains, you need your muscles to relax, repair, and rebuild.....so Please REST!

I hope I helped you OUT!
