Hey I'm a 15 year old male, 142-145 pounds (depending on time of day) and about 5'8.
I've been watching my diet and exercising lately. I try to go to the gym and when I'm there, I always run for a half hour and burn about 400 calories, then lift weights for an hour to an hour and a half. I never eat past 5 pm I take in around 1200-1500 calories/day, or at least aim in that area I've still got a small layer of fat on my upper body that makes me look fat, and really bunches up when I sit down. How can I burn off this last bit? I lost 30 pounds since the summer, and i seem to be stuck at this one point, any tips? |

I'm pretty certain you posted twice ! right?
I would suggest you eat more.....like 2100 calories a day....and lift more weight... OH and EVERYONE has a layer of fat when they sit down! : ) Keep a straight posture, shoulders back, abs in....Presto It's gone! But seriously , the only way to decrease fat in the ab region is by increasing cardio...and decreasing the amount of fat, salt, and sugar you take in.....Eat only veggies, oatmeal, eggs, plain pasta, baked potatoes, protein bars, boiled chicken...it's VERY Boring................and VERY temporary....Celebrities and body builders commit to a very strict diet before a show, or magazine cover....then they resume back to normal eating....it's a VERY temporary state....and it's NOT healthy to have a very low % of body fat.....Chances are your body fat is around 11-12% or so....which is fantastic...If you don't take in enough calories your body will hold on to it for storage....so Please eat a little more....then it will break down your muscle that you are working So hard to GET! so you have to EAT! CheryL : )
