Default Push ups Sit ups

For tryouts coaches are looking for the most pushups and situps I can do. To show my maximum amount should i perform these quickly or slowly to get the most reps.

just do them at a slow steady pace if you do them fast the coach will tell you to slow down .

If your goal is to see how many you can do in one minute...I would recommend you do them quickly...however you need to go low enough to the ground so that your elbows are in line with your shoulders...otherwise it is not a REAL pushup...

YOu dont' need to touch the ground...UNLESS the coach requires it..which I doubt in this instance....It sounds like to me you need to get in as many as you can and the technique/form does NOT have to be perfect..

Let me know how many you did !!
