I've been trying to get some serious abs, and I dont have a lot of time to workout. I tried exercising in the "healthy heart rate zone" which michelle lovitt talks about at Janet Crown's Burn 60, and it's REALLY solid. My body is definitely responding.
What should I eat to compliment a high cardio diet? |

The only way to achieve 'serious abs" is through diet....You could do 300 ab exercises a day ...........and not accomplish any visible results at all...OMG! how shocking! But it's true!
You need to incorporate a High cardio workout of 4-6 hours a week....and you must do ab exercise 3-4 x a week...for about 10 minutes....BUT most importantly you can not eat any JUNK at all....................notta! No alcohol, no chips, crackers, ice cream, cookies, pretzels, no salt, no candy, no fried food, creams, or chowders, cheeses, hardly any juice at all..........it is very very very boring............and when your abs do peak...it's very temporary...because eventually you are going to have to start eating normally again....Brad pitt ONLY has those "serious abs" for a role in a movie, or a photo shoot ...as soon as the gig is up.....he goes back to eating again....His abs are always there...under a thin layer of fat....but they only become visible when he diets down....and does a LOT of cardio! so, it can be done!!! lol! so, Abs essentially are 95% diet.....The process only takes about 30 days if you're already in shape and have a low % body fat....It only takes me a couple of weeks to have visible abs....b/c my body fat % is so low...but I am not posing for any covers soon so I don't knock myself out ! LOL! I hope I helped you!!! CheryL : )
