I'm pretty overweight and it ain't lookin' pretty for me. Clothes are increasing in size, and it's just astonishing at how I'm not balanced. Many have said for me to work on my core, because it's the most obvious of my current weight situation. There is one problem: time. My goal? Almost thirty pounds of fat lost, and maybe 15 pounds of muscle gained. What can I do? I have three months to change myself, and I wish to start early.
I'm doing this for several reasons: 1. My health. 2. A woman whom I admire highly. 3. I want to wear the clothes everyone else wears and at a smaller size. They are known as the "Big Three." I won't disclose the names of the clothing stores, but you may be aware of them if you know their group's nickname. 4. Myself. I want to feel good, I want to look good, and be admired by females my age. I'm very young, becoming seventeen, and I have a hideous body. I want to lose all my weight and gain health habits before college starts and attain a girlfriend sometime soon. But it all begins with my appearance. I need to look good because most girls I know are so beautiful but only wish to be with me as friends, nothing more. I need help, BADLY! Please help. All answers are greatly obliged. |

Okay I'm happy you have decided to improve your lifestyle ! yeah !!!
You are still very young..your body is still growing ....you will still grow until you are 19...so Basically... You need to find a cardio workout you really love and I recommend you start walking everyday for 30-45 minutes or so....and after a week...you can walk and jog for 100 ft or so...and walk again for 20 minutes...and jog 100 ft....so very very slowly working your way up...Most definitely consult a physician before you start any exercise regimen.... Now, you need to stay away from ALL JUNK....All JUNK....no pizza, chips, cookies, cakes, pretzels, soda, candy, cheese, cream, chowders, anything Fried YUCK, no alcohol, no white breads, yeah...it's a big list ! Power foods....are.....sweet potatoes, mangoes, sunflower seeds, avocados, chicken, walnuts, bananas, green peppers, strawberries, all citrus fruits, almonds, pecans, cataloupes, turkey, salmon, tomatoes, broccoli, pinto beans, greek yogurt, spinach, oatmeal , brown rice, field of greens, dark chocolate ( wow huh) Plenty of water of course....64 oz a day! I need to know your height and current weight in order to tell you what your caloric daily intake should be......in order to lose weight...but the above list provides you with fiber, calcium, protein, vit c, potassium, vit e, folic acid, beta-carotene, omega 3, B 1 , B2, B 6, Magnesium, Selenium. Hope to hear from you again ! Cheryl : )

Thanks, Cheryl!
I knew about Dark Chocolate; my Bio teacher told me about the antioxidants that are in it. This power food list I do have a question about: What's greek yogurt? Um...my height and weight, from what I remember, is I think 6'0" or 6'1" (to be on the safe side, 6'0"), and weight, I think I'm knocking at 190-200. It's bad. I hate my body, because it's like rebelling against me. I've been drinking water more; it's been something I never got used to, so I'm not drinking 64 fl. oz. a day just yet, but so far, I drank 6 .5 L bottles in the last 48 hours, so that's progress, right? That's about 1.5 day's worth of water, so I'm getting there! As for the exercise, is there anything weight-related I could do? Because not only do I want to be leaner, I want to gain a nice build. For the ladies, of course. :P |
