Default exercise problem

hi, im 16, my height is 6 foot 4 and weigh about 190 pounds. the problem i have is with my chest muscles. my left chest muscle is bigger but less developed and my right chest muscle is smaller and more developed. i was just wondering if there is any way to get my left chest muscle smaller and more toned. this may be because im left handed. any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

Firstly , I want to congratulate you on having a very healthy BMI !!! Now, I'm pretty sure you're male, : ) from your question...so please keep in mind that you are going to continue to grow for the next 3 years.

Now, there must be something else you are doing prominently on your left side....simply being left-handed wouldn't make THAT much of a difference...Unless you are doing something more strenuous....like Sailing, fishing, construction....etc...so think about what you do that is more physical. Chances are whatever it is.....you are using your left arm first.....It is important to alternate in order to keep the body balanced...but that takes a lot of work !!!

so, I would first suggest you start doing straight pushups.....and at the very tale end of doing your last 5 pushups....do ONE handed pushups on your right side....just doing a few extra reps on your right can make a huge difference. I'm not a fan of holding a 20lb dumbbell on one side...and then a 25lb dumbbell on the other....that can cause a lot of injury in other areas like your neck traps low back...and it's just not safe...but doing just 5-8 extra reps on the less developed side will really make a difference!

It is Very common to have one side bigger than the other....usually people notice one bicep is larger than the other....so you really have to keep an eye on it...BUT honestly YOU are probably the ONLY one who notices it !!

Hope I helped you out!
