My wife and I have been exercising together for years. We are in pretty good shape for our age. My wife has always had this little tummy that has bothered her. She watched the infomercial for the ab lounge and keeps pestering me that this is what we need. You can imagine, we have been through the plethora of equipment out there and the last thing we need is another "folds easily under the bed" quick fix if it really doesn't work.
Do you have any idea if the equipment does as it says it will? Are there proven results? Or not? Thanks |

I receive a barrage of questions about fitness equipment and I have NO doubt that you have quite a collection of fitness tools and apparatuses!! I am going to tell you what I tell everyone!!! If a piece of equipment excites you enough to want to exercise and improve your health then I am elated!!! I do not believe there is any one piece of equipment that is the Answer to whatever dissatisfaction you or whoever is feeling............
Now.............I do like and recommend a few pieces of equipment.....I like the Ab scissor and I like bow flex....I think the ab lounge can definitely work out your abs....I worry about the hyperextension of the lower back however.....it makes me a little nervous...but it is an advanced type of move..and eventually you will be doing ab exercises like that....I just worry about people being over zealous and excited about new equipment. The key to any fitness success and long term results is change and variation....you need to constantly be challenging yourself. So....If you are enticed by the Ab lounge , I would recommend you start there.....but after 24 days...you need to incorporate something else in your workout....whether you are on the floor doing abs, or taking pilates.........etc etc....Your abs need to be challenged all the time in order to see results. I have a lot of examples of ab exercises on the forum too. Also, your ab region is 90% diet..............and posture....so watch what you eat, make healthy choices...and stand and sit up straight ALL THE TIME.................even while you are driving!! Keep in touch Cheryl : ) I hope I helped you out!!!
